Can I Rent Equipment ?

The CHA has some rental gear available through the USA Hockey OneGoal program. The objective of this program is to introduce families to the game of hockey while keeping their costs affordable. This equipment will be made available to new Cross Ice / Mite players; players who continue to participate past the Mite level will need to furnish their own equipment. Please keep in mind we currently have a limited number of equipment packages available. The equipment package consists of the following :

Helmet w/mask Shoulder Pads Elbow Pads Hockey Pants Shin Pads Gloves Equipment Bag

The player will need to supply the following pieces of equipment :

Skates Mouth Guard Neck Guard Supporter w/protective cup or pelvic protector

The cost of the program is $50 per season wear and tear charge. A $75 deposit check will be required at the time of rental also. The check will not be cashed unless the equipment is not returned at the end of the season. A date will be set for pickup and turn in of equipment. How Do I Dress My Hockey Player

Here are a few videos to help you with all the in’s and outs of getting your little hockey player ready to hit the ice.    This is often one of the most difficult things for new parents and kids.   The video “How to Dress Your Hockey Girl” shows a girl getting dressed but could apply for either sex.
