The Columbus Hockey Association is proud to have an established youth hockey program dedicated in developing all levels of youth players, with a staff of USA Hockey certified coaches.
Our youth hockey programs begin with our Learn To Play sessions, once a week for beginners ages 3 and up, girls and boys. In these sessions, players will learn the basics of skating and begin to learn hockey skills.
Once players have met the required level of hockey skills, they then have the option to join a team in their age division in our recreational house league. Upon developing further skills in our recreational programs, players can consider high school hockey and/or youth travel hockey within their age division.
The CHA is also the home of the Columbus Jr. Cottonmouths, our youth travel hockey teams for more advanced players. The Columbus Jr. Cottonmouths offer opportunities for competitive travel for Mite through Midget divisions and play against other teams in the southeast.
